- Didn't receive the SMS with the download link?
- Try resending that SMS to your phone.
- Don't have text messaging enabled on your phone? You can download via your PC.
- After you signed up on our website, we sent you an email to confirm your sign up. In that email, you will find a download link to install Skyfire via your PC by side loading.
- Can't connect?
- Please make sure that your proxy setting are turned off. Here's how to do that.
- Please be sure to double check that you are installing Skyfire on a supported phone platform as well as a supported country.
- Please double check that you've installed the correct release of Skyfire for your phone type. There are three different releases of Skyfire:
- Windows Mobile touchscreen - look for "PPC" in the file name
- Windows Mobile non-touchscreen - look for "SMP" in the file name
- Symbian Series 60 3rd edition - look for "sisx" in the file name
- These are the most current releases of the Skyfire beta.
- Windows Mobile 0.8 (touchscreen) is Skyfire_7081_PPC50.CAB
- Windows Mobile 0.8 (non-touchscreen) is Skyfire_7081_SMP50.CAB
- Symbian 0.6 is Skyfire_Symbian_6746-S60.sisx
- Given a cab file that you can't install?
- You must sign up for Skyfire on our website. If you were given a copy of Skyfire it will not install. Simply sign up and we'll send you Skyfire.
After you are up and running, the best place to get further help is on our User Forum. You can search by topic to see if your question is already answered. If not, just post your question to the Skyfire User Forum where answers are provided by other Skyfire users as well as the Skyfire customer support team.
